QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Ability to actively participate in a fast paced, high-heat, and team environment.

3. Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence & memos.

4. Basic computer skills.

5. Ability to read and understand quality related documents, general understanding of the company quality standards and expectations, and other related documents and instructions.

6. Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing plant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate and work safely and follow all safety regulations.

2. Perform hardness inspection on customer parts.

3. Maintain equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule.

4. Ability to document testing results

5. Ability to invoice customers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. No Lab experience is required. Lab training will be provided in-house

2. Must be able to multitask and maintain awareness and status of multiple furnaces.

3. General ability to operate a computer.

4. Ability to add and subtract time to determine proper beginning or end of the process.

5. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

6. Ability to communicate information to internal and external customers in one-on-one or small group setting.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
